Joseph was able to elevate beyond the lowest level, the physical realm of pain, chaos, and suffering, called Malchut, through the way he faced difficulties and connected to the Light of the Creator, and therefore, achieve the level of Yesod, the level of sustenance.
As such, Joseph is the channel through which we can connect to that level of Yesod, the source for all abundance. Because Miketz connects us to Joseph, we also tap into the energy that he represents.
